Currumbin Eco-Parkland - David Jinks, Gold Coast Botany Interview

25 July 2024

EDQ’s ecological consortium—Gold Coast Botany, MRA Environmental, and ddwfauna—has been pivotal in highlighting the rich biodiversity of Currumbin Eco-Parkland.

We recently spoke with botanist David Jinks from Gold Coast Botany about the importance of Currumbin Eco-Parkland in protecting the region’s plant life. This is the first video in the series so stay tuned for more.

Our collaborative efforts have focused on identifying threatened native species and restoring the site's ecological balance. Through extensive on-site exploration, we've documented over 393 native and 172 exotic species, including 16 listed as threatened under National and State Government legislation.
